Who this consultation is for
You already hold a degree or vocational qualification earned outside the EU and you intend to work in Germany in a role that asks for Anerkennung, Gleichwertigkeitsprüfung, or a comparable assessment. Many clients come to us after an employer, chamber, or immigration adviser has asked for recognition paperwork they have never prepared before.
What you receive
We map your foreign credential to the German reference occupation, identify the competent authority (Zentralstelle für ausländisches Bildungswesen pathways, chamber of crafts, medical board, or state ministry as relevant), and assemble a submission plan. Sessions cover document checklists in the formats authorities expect, certified translation priorities, and how to respond when an authority requests additional evidence.
Included:
- Written mapping of your qualification to a German reference occupation
- Authority and procedure identification for your Land and profession
- Document inventory with translation and legalisation priorities
- One revision of your cover letter or application narrative for the authority
- Two follow-up calls after submission while you wait for a decision
Not included: certified translations themselves, legal representation in court, or guarantees of a positive recognition decision. Recognition rests with the competent German authority.
